Neurodiversity in law is a data controller defined by the Data Protection Act 2018, which is about any personal data you provide to us for your membership in the charity.

By applying for membership, you agree that we may process the personal data that we collect from you for your membership by using and collecting data provisions in our Privacy Policy: http://www.neurodiversityinlaw.co.uk/privacy-policy/. In particular, we may use your data for marketing, statistical and analytical purposes, and administrative purposes concerning your membership.

8. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL MATERIAL

We don’t guarantee that our website, its servers, downloadable files and emails are free from viruses or other harmful components.

You are responsible for using suitable anti-virus and firewall systems to protect your computer and equipment. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage resulting from infection of your computer and equipment.

Please keep your community username and password secure and contact us immediately by emailing membership@neurodiversityinlaw.co.uk if you believe they may no longer be safe.

We have the right to turn off any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time if, in our reasonable opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

When you sign up, we will use your email address to send you updates about the community and notifications. You can edit your preferences or opt out of these emails using the links in these emails.

10. POSTING ON OUR WEBSITE

You acknowledge that you will be solely liable for any costs and damages resulting from any infringement.

We may, but are not obliged to, monitor this material and edit or remove any material we deem inappropriate without giving reason or notice.
